Do you ever have one of those week were you just want to hit the reset button?

Well, that’s exactly what I’d like to do with this past week.

It has been one of those weeks were everything just seemed to go wrong.  Not only did everything I touch seem to break, but it was the worst time to have so much happen.  Isn’t that always the way??

I have been frantically getting ready for the Ottawa Home and Remodelling Show this week.  So, having a dead laptop, broken tooth and paint everywhere it shouldn’t be (like my Living Room carpet!) was not really in the plans.

Thankfully though, bad weeks never last.  A good night’s sleep, a yummy dinner with friends and a snuggle with my favorite 10lb fur ball goes a long way to making a bad week a whole lot better 🙂

Despite all of the crazy, I am super excited to be apart of the Ottawa Home and Renovation show again.

A couple of years ago I have the privilege of speaking on the main stage while turning a side table into a bench.  This year, I will be apart of an incredible Refreshed Furniture Pop-Up Shop that will be part of the show.  The Pop-Up Shop will be filled with furniture galore from some very talented painters.

Here are just a few of the pieces that I will be taking with me…

chippping and distressing on a dresser painted with Miss Mustard Seed Milk paint in Marzipan

antique table and childrens chairs painted with Annie Sloan Chalk paint in Antoinette

Solid wood bench painted with Miss Mustard Seed Milk paint in Shutter Grey

If you are in the Ottawa area, you can get more information and buy tickets to the show here.  (be sure to use the code MALENKA to get $4 off!)

Here’s to hoping the week-ofeverything-breaking is done and over and only good things are in store for the rest of the week 😉

I have 2 lovely thoughts, I would love to hear yours.
