Join me for a one-on-one!
You want to paint a piece of furniture but don't know where to begin?
You are stuck on the next steps of your furniture or home decor project?
Or... maybe you just want to discuss the details of your project and get some helpful advice?
If so, keep reading...
Once you have booked your consultation, you will complete a short questionnaire as well as send a picture of the project we will be discussing. These will help me prepare so that you can get the most out of our time together.
Together, we will talk about your project and what you would like to accomplish. We can discuss all stages of the project - from prep to finish, so that you feel prepared and comfortable completing it at your own pace.
Finally you will receive a list of all of the products and tools we discussed and the general steps to your project. You will also receive a digital copy of our call so you can reference it during your project.
I’m more than a DIY expert — I help individuals transform their furniture and home decor pieces into personal favourites while empowering them to try something new.
I understand that starting a project can be scary and I want to help you through each step so that you have the confidence to recreate the spaces around you.
I am the author behind the popular Recreated Designs blog about upcycling inexpensive (and most often free!) vintage, flea market, and dump centre finds. The Recreated Designs blog, has been featured around the web, on TV, and in print, daily inspiring others to tap into their creativity and turn junk into gems.
As the recipient of a 2019 creativity award, I have taught thousands, both locally and virtually, and love engaging with fellow creatives. I have also taught audiences worldwide through a series of 25 online shows geared towards upcycling and reuse.
Over the past 8 years I have recreated hundreds of furniture and home decor pieces and now I want to help you on our creative journey. My extensive knowledge of paints, finishes, and DIY techniques makes me the perfect partner to help you recreate the things around you so let's get creative together!
