Summer is usually one of those times of year that I look forward to; the warm days, the relaxed feel, and the time to spend outdoors. I love spending time at the cottage, visiting the dump reuse centres, and generally, just breaking up my normal routine.
This summer has been different though. There have been serious family health issues, extra scheduled work, and various things that have come up.
While it has been difficult to let the summer pass (almost in a blur!), there have still been lots of blessings and small moments of summer normalcy to enjoy.
It is during these “different” seasons that finding time to be creative and doing activities that feed the soul are most important. Challenges will pass and these things will help you get through to the other side.
When you feel you don’t have the energy, pushing yourself to do something fun, creative, or new will help. It doesn’t matter what it is, just get moving or get creating.
I hope you are finding some time this summer, no matter what your life may look like at the moment, to do something that you enjoy.
Try a new craft, visit a flea market, take a drive somewhere you have never been, sit under a tree and get lost in a book, or pack a picnic and enjoy the sunshine. Whatever you do, make the time, mark your calendar, and get out there and enjoy the beautiful summer.

Amen! Hope the rest of your summer is wonderful!
Thanks so much! I hope the rest of your summer is wonderful as well 🙂
