Make Cute Fall Decor For Under $10

With September fully underway, I am definitely feeling like it’s time to break out the fall decor. Are you?

I love fall so as soon as the air turns crisp and the days get shorter I have the urge to think about all things cozy and warm and fall-like.

Last week the first episode of my new Hometalk TV show aired and I just had to do something fall-themed.  My new show on Hometalk TV is short and quick and features projects that you can make no matter how busy you are or how little your budget is.

For the premiere episode, I made something out of these inexpensive coconut flower pot liners from the dollar store. At 3 for $2 they were definitely a bargain and were easily turned into some pretty fall decor.

I love that I was able to dip into my stash of vintage lace and trim for this project as well. It added a special touch and reused something old.

If you enjoyed my new show, the next episode will air on Thursday, October 7 at 7 pm EST and you will find more details and a link to watch on the Recreated Designs Facebook page.

Junk Into Gems Challenge

Don’t forget, there is still time to join this month’s Junk Into Gems Challenge where we refresh or upcycle an item of the month. For the month of September, we are using old books since they cannot be recycled due to their binding and glue. Find all of the details about the challenge here…

I hope that your September is off to a great start!
