Finiding Inspiration in All Things Green

Happy St. Patrick’s Day! ☘️ Today is the perfect day to celebrate all things green, Irish, and anything you feel thankful for.

It’s been a bit since I had a chance to write and thought I’d just on today and share a little about the past year. As most of you know, this time last year I opened the Recreated Designs retail store. It was a huge endeavor but it has been amazing.

Opening the shop was not something I had imagined I would do, but it has turned out to be the perfect next step in my journey. Having a space to curate vintage finds, carry high-quality products for furniture refinishing, and offer unique upcycling supplies has been amazing.

I have also been able to spend a large amount of time teaching in-person classes and workshops to the most lovely people. Watching others tap into their creativity or explore something new has been the absolute best!

The only downside to the shop (if there is one) is that it has taken time away from creating pieces and projects myself. I miss sharing time and creations with you and I’m hoping to have more time for that this year.

I feel lucky to have met so many of you either through the blog or in person at the shop and it’s those connections, that make it all worthwhile.

St. Patrick’s Day seemed the perfect day to pass along some green inspiration and let you know that I haven’t forgotten you!
