It feels like I have been MIA for a bit now and miss hanging out with you guys! I hope your summer is going delightfully well and that you are finding lots of treasures, painting loads of furniture and, of course, enjoying the lovely outdoors 🙂
I have some super exciting news that I have been wanting to share for a while and it’s finally time!
You know I love hitting the road looking for treasures whenever I can (see here and here) and as much as I would love to keep everything I find… alas… I can not. I have been looking for an outlet for quite some time to be able to offer things that I find and love and I finally have.

Until the shop opens, I thought I would share a few things I have picked up so far this summer. Some will be in the shop, but mostly these are for my own “collection” 😉
A gorgeous cream chandelier. It is rusty and crusty but it is beautiful. I’ll remove the old wiring and then go from there.
An old, ornate gold frame. It is pretty small and fragile but it will be beautiful hanging on a wall.
Some more vintage glass light shades. These are perfect turned upside down and I am pretty sure I will be making some cake stands with them; I think…
And a few Farmhouse style vintage kitchen items.
My favourite find so far this summer though is this old screen window. I found one a couple of years ago (you can read about it here) and am so excited to find another. This one is a little bit smaller but has just as much character ♥
And… these. These are definitely my weirdest find this summer; some brand new gold leather sneakers… at the Dump Store! Wait until you see what I do with these puppies 😉 (here’s a little hint)
